LaMonica McIver Gives Up the Game in Comments Made

Back in mid-May, the DOJ introduced prices against Rep. LaMonica McIver (D-NJ) over her alleged function in an incident at the ICE detention middle in Newark, with US Attorney Alina Habba asserting that “my office has charged Congresswoman McIver with violation of Title 18, United States Code, Section 111(a)(1) for assaulting, impeding and interfering with law enforcement.”

McIver had a court look Wednesday, where she pled “not guilty” and vowed to supporters afterwards that she wouldn’t be “intimidated”:

Unless allegedly assaulting and attempting to intimidate and hinder federal law enforcement officers is a component of her job as a member of the House of Representatives, then she most definitely does need to be held accountable in a court of law.
