Fox News viewers challenged Lara Trump after she prompt the new Obama Center was financed by “taxpayers.”

The ceremony, organized by former President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama, attracted 3,000 invited attendees to John Lewis Plaza in Chicago, Illinois, for a high-profile event that includes notable speeches and performances.

Lara, who lately confronted criticism when speaking about the White House Rose Garden, remarked on the Outnumbered panel that the middle is “ugly” and “over budget” and that taxpayers are “footing the bill for it.”

On X, viewers pushed back against her feedback, suggesting she is so accustomed to grifting that she has “no idea what private donations are.”

X account Acyn shared the clip on the platform, prompting quite a few viewers to fact-check Lara’s declare that the Obama Center was “taxpayer-funded.”

She wrapped up by saying, “I’m just waiting to see what happens,” prompting McEnany to call those “interesting exhibits.”

She remarked, “I would definitely go to those.”
