We’ve acquired Metallica news that isn’t “Sad” but is “True.”
After doing a bit of digging, our workforce discovered that ticket prices for the first weekend of their Life Burns Fast Las Vegas Sphere residency are dropping.
When we last coated how a lot it value to see James Hetfield and co. in Sin City on Sept. 24, prices began at $1,318 including charges on Vivid Seats for their first two-show “No Repeats Weekend” stint on Thursday, Oct. 1 and Saturday, Oct. 3.
Now, just six short days later, two-concert Life Burns Faster passes are going for $1,275 including charges.
Similarly, tickets for the Saturday show this weekend have dropped as effectively (while Thursday went up $17).
In any event, must you make the trek to the Entertainment Capital of the World and attend a show (or two), you’ll be handled to a pair of distinctive nights.
Although we will’t affirm just what the Rock Hall of Famers are planning on taking to the stage this time around, traditionally, Set List FM reported they sometimes ship “Master of Puppets,” “Seek & Destroy,” “Nothing Else Matters,” “Creeping Death” and, of course, “Sad But True” on Thursdays.
Saturday reveals often consist of “Ride The Lightning,” “Whiplash,” “Blackened,” “One” and, of course, “Enter Sandman” among others, based on our findings at Set List FM.
That’s not to point out the unequalled audio expertise that Sphere gives.
“Each seat stands as the best in the house due to the ultraresolution audio flow pumped by Holoplot — a specialized sound system that aims to change the future of live performances,” The Post reported back in July 2023.
“This means standing next to the stage won’t blow out your eardrums and sitting high up feels like you’re next to the stage of the Vegas venue.”
Sounds good to us.

Metallica new music
On April 14, 2023, Metallica dropped their eleventh studio album “72 Seasons.”
The thrumming, high-velocity file rapidly units the tone with the non-stop thrill trip title monitor and then refuses to let up throughout its healthy 77-minute runtime.
Indisputable highlights embrace the snaking “Sleepwalk My Life Away,” nakedly uncooked “You Must Burn!” and unrelenting “Lux Æterna.” Don’t anticipate a second to breathe; Metallica goes laborious the whole time with nary a second to relaxation. Just the way in which it ought to be.
To hear for your self, you may hear to “72 Seasons” right here.
