Patrick Reed units his sights on grabbing the eye of captain Keegan Bradley to secure a spot on Team USA for the upcoming Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black this September.

His compatriot Reed has voiced confidence in Bradley’s potential dual role. “Honestly, for me, if I have been in his sneakers, if I felt like I used to be enjoying as the highest 12, inside that prime 12, then I’d play,” Reed commented regarding Bradley’s tough decision.

Reed underscores the captain’s goal of shaping the strongest team, stating, “The factor about being a captain is that it is about placing the best group ahead, no matter who it’s, and whoever is in the best kind is clearly one of those guys that I’d make sure is on the group. If he continues enjoying the best way he is enjoying and continues competing on Sundays and having a likelihood to win, I’m all for it.

“It’s all what he feels like is the best for the team, and if thatmeans him playing is best for the team, that’s what youhave amazing vice captains for is to take over that role ifyou’re out there having a chance to play and have a goodchance for the U.S. to bring the Cup home.”
