Local Media Outlet Just Cant Deal After Florida

Though the mainstream media by and massive seems to have moved on, for the time being, from its relentless demagoguing of the DOGE on Capitol Hill, the division in Florida – created in February via an government order from Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) – is getting a truthful quantity of consideration as they proceed to perform their mission of fiscal duty in authorities.

Some of the headlines have included “Florida DOGE auditors to examine Hillsborough, Pinellas County spending” and “Orlando receives Florida DOGE letter with audit set for this month.”  Another learn “Florida DOGE team investigates Gainesville as residents protest.”

But while the work they’re doing is critical, Florida’s new Chief Financial Officer, Blaise Ingoglia, thought it might be enjoyable to lighten the temper a little bit with an unofficial nickname that occurs to have the initials “FAFO.”

Spelled out, “FAFO” stands for “Florida Agency for Fiscal Oversight”:

— Don’t say DOGE. Chief Financial Officer BLAISE INGOGLIA has begun raking through native authorities spending to look for waste — in a related model to what ELON MUSK did with DOGE in DC. But Ingoglia says it’s time for a title overhaul. He’s now calling the trouble the Florida Agency for Fiscal Oversight.

That’s proper: FAFO. Ingoglia, a former state social gathering chair, obtained a rave reception during the social gathering’s weekend as he rolled out the new nickname and shared his ideas for GOP success.

It even has the endorsement of Gov. DeSantis, who seems to be giving critical thought to making the title official:

Because some in the media have no disgrace, however, and no sense of humor, one native journalist and obvious DeSantis Derangement Syndrome sufferer from CBS 12 has tied the initials to, you guessed it, racism:

However, that phrase, “F— Around and Find Out,” was itself embraced by a racist, extremist group.

The Anti-Defamation League notes the Proud Boys use the phrase as a slogan “to suggest they are always prepared for a fight, and if a person confronts or messes with them, that person will be sorry.”

“This slogan is commonly seen on Proud Boys’ clothing or is spray painted as a symbol of the group,” ADL’s definition continued. “The phrase may also be used to a lesser degree by others in a different context.”

Despite the Media Noise Machine, Ingoglia stays undeterred and is, in reality, proving the new nickname was fully applicable:

It has come to my consideration that some native governments try to place “conditions” and restrictions on our investigators doing @DOGEFla audits. 

Let me be clear: All of the knowledge we’re requesting is public info. I cannot stand for bureaucratic purple tape when wanting for waste, fraud and abuse of taxpayer {dollars}. 

Today, I despatched a letter to @CityofJax and different native governments being reviewed. 

I stand on the aspect of accountability and transparency for taxpayers. 

My message is obvious: The CFO’s workplace has subpoena energy to gain access to these information and I’m not afraid to use that energy.
