President Donald Trump’s MAGA supporters had been out in full power on Saturday, the ultimate day of the Conservative Political Action Conference, after it was announced that the president wouldn’t attend.

Breaking a decade-long custom, it was announced earlier this week that the president would not attend the convention in Texas. However, many supporters of the president appeared to be okay with the information and even hopeful that he may make a shock look.

“I’m sad, but he has done a wonderful show here because Trump is first-class. He wants first class. And we don’t have to go through the bad deal that everybody goes through, all your stuff,” Deanna Averett, 87, told The Daily Express U.S. “And I knew Trump might deal with it in a skilled manner. And that’s precisely what he is completed.

When requested if she thought President Trump lack of look may detract from the general expertise, Averett was assured that MAGA supporters can be just superb. “Nope. I give him five stars. If he’s not here, then someone has got a job to do, and he wants it done well.”

“And just like his TV programme, he said, ‘You’re fired.’ Make no excuses. He watches what you’re doing, and I know this place is going to be carrying on,” the Texas native and retiree commented. “And I guarantee you, with all the people that’s supposed to be here, I think he would love to be here, but I think he’s got a more important job for this country.”

Chad Averett, her grandson, commented that he was a little disillusioned. “I don’t know. Sad. I mean, I wish you were here, but not sad,” he commented. “I guess. I mean, I kind of knew it before I signed up to be here from that respect, but it’d be great if he was.”

The real estate analytics employee added that he understood”there’s just a lot going on right now, and sometimes schedules just don’t work out.” Audrey Ruttan, an actress from Los Angeles, aslo said that she was completely okay with the president lacking the Republican gathering.

“I understand what’s going on because he’s got to take care of the world right now with Iran,” she said, donning a golden MAGA hat boasting the president’s signature. “And now it’s their time to take care of themselves now, but he’s got to finish the job.”

“I totally understand,” added Ruttan. “It’d be nice to see him, but you never know. He could show up unannounced because he does that because of the security.”

Carolyn Brookes

Euless resident Carolyn Brookes, 76, said she was proud of the president for not attending CPAC this year because, to her, it meant he was hard at work.”

“I pray for him every day to have the strength and the energy and the stamina to keep doing what he’s doing. He’s got priorities,” she said. “I saw him speak a couple years ago at CPAC, so watch him every day. I do what he’s got to do.”

When requested whether or not his absence is perhaps seen as a dangerous signal, Brookes told the Daily Express U.S. that she still believed he was doing a great job. “You have to believe about little of what you hear in the media and just know that he’s working hard and fighting battles 24/7, left, right, all around.”

“And so he’s a busy man,” she added.”Because Americans, true Americans, the Patriots love him, we love our country.”
