The 19-year-old poster misplaced her sister at age 6, and found the ring among her sibling’s belongings years later.
But during a latest household gathering, she was blindsided when her brother immediately obtained down on one knee and opened a ring box — revealing her memento.
“I wished they at least asked before taking it, as it just seems like that I didn’t really matter,” the girl (who wished to stay nameless) instructed Newsweek in a latest interview.
Even worse? The mother and father had been apparently in on the proposal — and gave their blessing.
