Man vs Baby acts as a  follow-up collection to Rowan Atkinson’s hilarious Man vs Bee on Netflix. The comedy collection was written by Atkinson himself, alongside William Davies.

Blackadder star Atkinson reprises his function as Trevor Bingley, but this time, he has taken on a more relaxed job as a faculty caretaker. However, the job proves to be a lot more difficult than he initially believed.

Following the chaos of Man vs Bee, Trevor finds himself at the centre of another potential catastrophe when a real-life child appearing as Baby Jesus is left behind at the varsity nativity, and followers have already been handled to a sneak peek.

Trevor then finds himself with an surprising companion over the Christmas break as he takes it upon himself to look after the toddler. Fans of the Mr Bean star have been delighted when news of the new collection was announced back in December 2024.

Netflix has listed the collection as half of its 2025 festive slate, and followers have been handled to a first look in October 2025. Here is all you need to know about the new collection.

The collection is scheduled to premiere in full on December 11 on Netflix.

The streamer often releases new titles at midnight in the US, or 8am in the UK.

The collection is made up of just 4 30-minute episodes, the equal of a function movie if watched back-to-back.

This festive particular is far shorter than Man vs Bee, which was made up of 9 episodes in complete.

The official synopsis reads: “After a job looking after a high-tech mansion ended in disaster thanks to an irritating insect in Man vs Bee, Trevor Bingley has left the stressful world of housesitting for the quieter life of a school caretaker.

“That is, until a profitable offer to look after a luxurious London penthouse over Christmas proves too tempting to resist.

“But on the last day of term, when no one comes to collect the Baby Jesus from the school nativity, Trevor finds himself with another undersized and very unexpected companion.

“With a penthouse to defend and a child to burp, will Trevor give you the option to have the calm Christmas he hopes for, or will festivities descend into chaos?”

The printed cast checklist for Man vs Baby contains Rowan Atkinson as Trevor Bingeley and Alanah Bloor as Maddy.

Maddy also appeared in Man vs Bee, but the function has since been recast, as India Fowler was the unique actress.

Atkinson is a 70-year-old English actor, comic and author recognized for his iconic roles in Blackadder, Mr Bean and Johnny English.

Bloor is a British actress from Cornwall whose breakthrough function was in the TV collection Sandokan.

Sunetra Sarker also stars as Georgia Hakopian, with Ashley Jensen as Janet. 

Man vs Baby airs on Netflix on December 11.
