Marcus Stroman gives one-word message in response…

Marcus Stroman has stated his goodbyes to the Yankees. 

After getting launched by the Bombers on Friday, Stroman had a one-word response on social media.

“Adios,” he wrote on his Instagram Story, which featured him flashing his watch on a aircraft. 

Stroman was cut from the workforce on Friday after an underwhelming two years in The Bronx.

“Obviously, that was tough today,” supervisor Aaron Boone stated Friday. “The notion around Stro, for us, didn’t meet the man we obtained to be around the final couple years. He’s an superior competitor.

“But yeah, I think it’s a case of we think Warren and Schlittler are ready to be in the rotation full-time. Just felt like with some more moves probably coming over the next few days at least, the timing was right.”

Stroman, 34, posted a 6.23 ERA across 9 begins before the franchise cut ties. 

The right-hander missed about two-and-a-half months with knee irritation.
