Marjorie Taylor Greene issued an uncommon warning on Saturday, stating that she is “not suicidal” as she continues to push for transparency relating to the release of recordsdata associated to Jeffrey Epstein.

Greene has emerged as one of the most vocal advocates for the victims of the disgraced financier and is among only 4 Republicans in Congress advocating for a petition to absolutely disclose the recordsdata. Despite this, people within the Trump administration have persistently obstructed the release, with the president even dismissing the recordsdata as “totally irrelevant.”

In a peculiar social media post, Greene shared a prolonged message asserting that the “Epstein rape and pedophile network must be exposed.” In another post, she said that if she had been ever discovered useless, comparable to how Epstein was found in his New York City jail cell in 2019, there would need to be an investigation into those making an attempt to silence her.

“I am not suicidal and one of the happiest and healthiest people you will meet,” she penned. She continued, “With that said, if something happens to me, I ask you all to find out which foreign government or powerful people would take heinous actions to stop the information from coming out.”

“Not only about this issue, but because of the truth I have been speaking,” she added. “The People understand what I’m saying.”

Greene was beforehand among Donald Trump‘s most devoted supporters in the MAGA motion, but she has now created distance from the president following the Epstein controversy. Earlier this month, the White House cautioned Republican legislators that backing the invoice to declassify the paperwork can be considered as a “very hostile act” by the president.

Nevertheless, Greene rejected the warning during a latest news convention, stating, “This isn’t a hostile act toward the administration.” She strengthened her place on social media, explaining that she needed to make clear her backing of the invoice.

“I stand with girls and women who are inappropriately abused and raped. Period. Every time. At all times,” she said. “For me, it’s not about a pissing contest between political parties or political enemies. The Epstein rape and pedophile network must be exposed.”

Greene also expressed a view supported by both Epstein’s victims and their lawyer, stating that Trump “did nothing wrong” and he was, in fact, “the only one that helped the women.”

President Trump has persistently rejected any misconduct associated to the Epstein matter, has not confronted any prison expenses from authorities and has never been named as the main target of any probe. She also criticized Democrats, claiming they never did “a single thing” or demonstrated concern for Epstein’s victims during Joe Biden‘s presidency.

“They could have exposed the entire thing while they had power, but never lifted a finger to do so,” she said. “If anyone is implicated, then they have the right to clear their name,” Greene declared.

“Just as millions of Americans have had to do when falsely accused of a crime. I’ve had to do that many times and even had to defend myself against lies and pay massive attorney bills to do it,” she added. Greene pushed for those in authority to release the paperwork through any means attainable, notably if consideration might shift back to aiding Americans who, she claimed, had been still struggling to afford rent, insurance coverage, and housing prices.

“The obsession over the Epstein files and fighting about it should not be happening, and it needs to end,” she remarked. “But it’s only an issue in the news because it has become a political fight when it should not be one.”
