Mastodon guitarist Brent Hinds dies in motorbike crash | Music News


The lead guitarist of the famend steel band Mastodon has tragically handed away following a bike accident.

William Brent Hinds, 51, was urgently taken to the hospital after the incident close to Boulevard, Atlanta, but was sadly declared unresponsive. Hinds rose to prominence as the previous lead guitarist of the Atlanta, Georgia-based heavy steel band Mastodon, where he shared guitar and vocal duties with Bill Kelliher, Troy Sanders, and Brann Dailor.
