Megyn Kelly claims Taylor Swift is empty inside | TV Shows

Megyn Kelly seems to be far from impressed with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s lavish wedding ceremony festivities that unfolded at Madison Square Garden last week.

The Sirius XM host made an look on Piers Morgan Uncensored on Monday, delivering her unfiltered take on the high-profile nuptials between the 14 Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end. The ceremony was held at New York City‘s MSG on July 3, drawing an estimated 1,000 company, including a whole lot of A-list celebrities.

In stark distinction to the overwhelming assist poured out by Swifties following the marriage announcement, Kelly pulled no punches, telling Morgan that she believes Swift is “empty inside.”

Morgan requested his visitor whether or not Swift and Kelce’s wedding ceremony was “a bit OTT (over the top),” inviting Kelly to weigh in on the high-profile event. “I imply, I’ll shock you, but I really feel sorry for Taylor Swift,” Kelly said. “I really think she’s empty inside.”

“I think most people who seek fame at a very early age, like in their teens, are chasing after some sort of fullness that wasn’t provided by their family of origin for whatever reason, and it never comes,” the 55-year-old former Fox News character continued.

“It’s a lifelong pursuit because fame and money, adoration from strangers, does not fill that void. Only you, God, and your immediate loved ones can,” she added.

Kelly then turned her consideration to the sheer scale of the visitor listing. “Who has a thousand-person wedding?” she requested. “Maybe, maybe she does have that many friends and family, I don’t know, you know, like if you’re Italian, you’ve got non-stop relatives, you would get to a thousand pretty quickly – which she’s not,” she added.

“And then we look at the guest list,” Kelly continued to rant. “Oprah, really? Steven Spielberg… those two are super close to Steven Spielberg? Bulls–t. I don’t believe that for one second.”

“Bradley Cooper… the music stars I can accept. That makes some sense to me that they she would be immersed in country music in particular and would know a lot of the big stars there, but Adam Sandler officiating? How did that come about? Oh, we’re told by the papers that Travis and he were in Happy Gilmore 2 together. When was Happy Gilmore 2 made? 2025,” she said.

Morgan then weighed in, remarking, “It’s a bit weird, these kind of weddings, where any celebrity you can think of rocks up for your most private nuptials. “It’s so awkward, it makes me really feel so uncomfortable,” Kelly responded.

According to People, the couple’s wedding guest list was a star-studded affair, featuring Hollywood heavyweights such as Brad Pitt, Emma Stone, Mariska Hargitay, and Tom Hanks, NFL legends including Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski, and Patrick Mahomes, and music icons Sabrina Carpenter and Miranda Lambert.

The night before the wedding, Swift and Kelce hosted an intimate rehearsal dinner for approximately 100 guests, among them Selena Gomez, Lena Dunham, and Jack Antonoff, reports the Mirror US.

This marks another occasion where Kelly has commented on the couple’s nuptials. On Thursday, July 2, Kelly discussed their star-studded wedding with Daily Mail columnist and author Maureen Callahan on The Megyn Kelly Show.

Callahan characterized the extravagant affair as “Taylor’s big fats Disney wedding ceremony.” Kelly responded, “It’s like, at first I actually didn’t imagine that she and he would get married at Madison Square Garden. It’s so on the nostril in phrases of like, attention-getting, and just so gauche.”
