First woman Melania Trump entered the second day of her Fostering the Future Together Global Coalition Summit with a robot walking alongside her.
The humanoid robot walked the pink carpet with the first woman to greet representatives from more than 40 nations who are collaborating to broaden access to schooling and technology for youngsters worldwide. A clip of the second was shared online.
“Melania is with someone she relates to,” read a remark. Another individual requested, “How do we know the difference?”
Other customers, including followers of the first woman, have been put off by the robot. “Love Melania, but this robot stuff creeps me out,” read a remark.

Trump delivered remarks at the event on Tuesday. “As people, we dream. As leaders, we progress. As nations, we will build,” she said. “Beginning today, let’s accelerate our new global alliance, this bond, to positively impact the progress of our children.”
She called on members to kind regional networks, conduct research, and construct cross-sector partnerships to “cultivate the skills young people need to be successful in this rapidly evolving world.”
“This room is filled with extraordinary human capital,” said the first woman, encouraging attendees to “harness it” to empower youngsters and strengthen economies.
The gathering included representatives from tech giants such as Microsoft, Google, and OpenAI, as properly as the spouses of a number of world leaders, including Olena Zelenska, the partner of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, and Sara Netanyahu, the spouse of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
The summit marks the first time a U.S. first woman has hosted representatives from 45 nations at the White House in a single day, the White House said. The administration has described the initiative as “a global coalition of nations aligned to empower children through education and technology.”

“This executive order gives me tremendous pride. It is both empathetic and strategic,” she said at the time. “I predict this small spark today will ignite a profound and lasting nationwide movement.”
The initiative focuses on well-being, online security, and opioid abuse prevention. It was half of her “Be Best” marketing campaign, which launched in May 2018.
Robotic warning
This is not the first time Melania has sparked considerations about robots. In November 2025, she predicted that artificial intelligence would grow to be the most profound change to struggle since the introduction of nuclear weapons.
While delivering remarks to army personnel and their households at Marine Corps Air Station New River in Jacksonville, North Carolina, the first woman warned that the AI arms race was one that America couldn’t afford to lose.

We are moving from human operators to human overseers — fast,” she said. “The shift from soldiers to machines is already underway. “To win the AI war, we must train our next generation, for it’s America’s students who will lead the Marine Corps in the future,” said Trump, who has lead the White House Task Force on Artificial Intelligence. “Technology is changing the art of war … AI will alter war more profoundly than any technology since nuclear weapons.
“The most vital change will likely be pace. Speed in weaponry, decision-making, detection, assault, and protection. Artificial intelligence will take middle stage in the theater of struggle, it already performs a significant position on the battlefield.
“Of course, it is the Marine who will always play the most critical role in realizing mission success.”
