“Reinier de Ridder is the only man that has a shot because of the jiu-jitsu, because of the abilities he has off his back.”
While Bisping believes de Ridder creates an interesting matchup, he doesn’t see the Chimaev losing the title anytime soon.
“This goes to be most likely a very long and dominant reign in the middleweight division,” Bisping said. “I do not suppose we have ever seen a dominant wrestler like Khamzat Chimaev in the middleweight division. Typically it has been strikers. Look at [Israel] Adesanya. Look at Anderson Silva, Rich Franklin. The checklist goes on. Yeah, we had Chris Weidman.
