MN Somali Daycare Reports Bizarre Break-In, Blames

If it is potential, issues are getting even weirder in the center of the Minnesota, Somali-run daycare drama. 

There’s a new twist on New Year’s Eve. 

Now, a Minneapolis Somali-run daycare heart is reporting that that they had a break-in earlier this week. Guess what was stolen? “Important documentation.” 

🤔 A supervisor at Nokomis Daycare Center in Minneapolis reported that somebody broke into the ability and stole all of their paperwork.

Why would somebody need a daycares paperwork?

Nasrulah Mohamed, supervisor of Nakomis Day Care Center, told reporters that a suspect entered through the kitchen at the rear of the ability, damaging a wall and breaking into the building’s workplace, someday on Tuesday.

He said the alleged prowler stole “important documentation” including youngsters’s enrollment info, worker documentation and checkbooks.

What a time for this to occur, proper as the federal authorities is taking a deep dive, trying into Minnesota daycare facilities. 

Notice how you also had somebody standing behind the supervisor who was holding a signal that said, “Racism has no place in childcare.” 

Oh, and guess who/what the Center blames? Nick Shirley and his video. 

“This is devastating news, and we don’t know why this is targeting our Somali community as one video made by a specific individual made this all happen,” he said, claiming they’ve acquired “hateful” and “threatening” messages over the last a number of days.

“This is frightening and exhausting,” he said, calling Shirley’s reporting “false.”

That’s nonsensical.

Shirley didn’t go to or characteristic Nokomis in his video, but they’re blaming him anyway, calling his report “false,” and speaking about “racism. ” Shirley might have one thing to say about that. 

The state officers say Nokomis has not had any fraud claims against it.

Then, there was a secondary controversy about the break-in because of an obvious Minnesota Star Tribune report that the police said that “nothing had been stolen from the office or the daycare center.” 

The police later said:

“No loss was (initially) reported to officers, but late this morning the original reporting party reached out to MPD with additional information about the case, including the loss.”

So you can also make of that what you’ll, and I’d be curious what the police discover as they proceed in this case. 

Meanwhile, as we reported, the FBI and a number of other federal businesses are descending on Minnesota to look into the daycare allegations, in addition to trying into other alleged fraud in other areas of the state’s social companies system. Not only that, but Congress is also trying into it, as effectively. The federal authorities has frozen little one care funds to the state, and demanded the MN officers do a complete audit of the facilities talked about in the video.
