Moment Ukraine spies wipe out vital Russian radar | Political News

Ukraine’s army intelligence claimed its particular forces unit struck two Russian radar-related targets in the Russian-occupied Crimea.

The Kyiv Post reported the operation, performed late last month, focused a command vehicle utilizing new Magura maritime platforms outfitted to carry First-Person View (FPV) drones.

“From now on, our Maguras also pose a threat to the Russian occupiers on land, this fundamentally shifts the fight into a new dimension,” said the Group 13 commander.

“Our operations throughout the war against the Russian aggressor confirm that the invaders will have no place in Crimea – neither in its waters, nor in the skies over the Black Sea, nor on Crimean soil. Crimea is Ukraine,” the commander added.

Since the Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Group 13 operators have destroyed 9 Russian ships and broken 5 others, according to the outlet, also destroying three Russian helicopters, damaging another helicopter, and destroying two fighter plane belonging to Russia’s Black Sea Fleet.

“We started from zero – no equipment, no resources – but we built something that changed the course of the war at sea,” the Group 13 commander told Kyiv Post.

Earlier last month, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) performed coordinated strikes on air bases in Crimea, reportedly hitting seven hangars storing aviation tools.

The operations are a half of a broader 40-day marketing campaign approved by President Volodymyr Zelensky to goal Russia’s army potential and disrupt its logistical capabilities in the south.

On Monday morning, at least eight people had been killed in Ukraine assaults on occupied Crimea and southern Russia, according to The Moscow Times.

Crimea was seized by pressure and illegally annexed by Moscow in 2014. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has repeatedly vowed to “do everything possible to return Crimea, so that Crimea, together with Ukraine, becomes part of Europe.”
