NBA Champ Slams Mamdani and the Left Suddenly

Apparently, liberals only consider athletes—basketball gamers in explicit—ought to communicate their minds when they’re parroting the accepted progressive script.

Over the weekend, Kyle Kuzma, an NBA champ with the 2020 Los Angeles Lakers, quote-tweeted New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani’s (D) performative video branding Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a “war criminal.” 

He then promptly windmill dunked on the half-pint-sized Commie for “cosplaying” as any individual in a place of authority for demanding the PM’s arrest.

“People cosplaying as things they don’t have the authority, the talent, or the track record to actually be. Just for content,” he said. “A mayor playing president.”

Kuzma then listed off a number of other examples of people in this digital age pretending to be issues they don’t seem to be.

“We’re raising a technology that (learns) the reward isn’t in doing the factor, it’s in trying such as you did the factor. The clip is the profession. The pose is the product. The soundbite is the substitute for a life’s work,” he concluded. “Don’t fall for distractions.”

This is 2026. People cosplaying as issues they don’t have the authority, the expertise, or the monitor document to truly be. Just for content.

What makes this fairly fascinating is the fact that he is not calling out Mamdani for being the vile, terror-adjacent, Communist that he clearly is. No, he is calling this man out as a clown who thinks he is far more important in his own thoughts. And his supporters for missing the intelligence not to be distracted by the shiny, candy-like object.

And man, did they dislike the assertion.

Within hours, the same crowd that once handled “shut up and dribble” as a right-wing heresy was gleefully throwing the phrase—and far worse—proper back at Kuzma.

“You cosplaying as an intellectual. I would tell you to shut up and dribble, but we know you can barely do that,” one particular person with their little “Free Palestine” bio fired back.

“And you’re cosplaying as a basketball player,” another, with he/him pronouns, a image to show they had been cosplaying as a girl, and a point out of being a “lifer” over a South Korean woman group in their profile, said.

To his credit, Kuzma responded to a bunch of the assaults thrown his means, even telling somebody who disliked the current administration that they might “move to a different country.”

It’s humorous when you notice Kuzma gained an NBA championship ring alongside his teammate LeBron James, who truly served as the impetus for the total “shut up and dribble” mantra.

You know, the man who called President Trump a “bum,” repeatedly slammed him over race and politics, backed Black Lives Matter, and sided with the Chinese Communist Party by blasting Daryl Morey as “misinformed” for supporting Hong Kong protesters while never once mentioning the Uyghur focus camps in China that the NBA was serving to to fund.

Yeah, LeBum. We did not overlook about that.

Let’s see how a lot heat Kuzma will get for daring to communicate out on Mamdani, the mayor of the metropolis that just gained the NBA championship. LeBron is allowed to spout off at the mouth whenever he feels prefer it. Enes Kanter Freedom claims he was blackballed by the league for talking his ideas.

Kuzma, who now performs with the Milwaukee Bucks, is no James when it comes to expertise. But being a little more productive, versatile, and profitable total than Kanter and most of the league means he cannot precisely be ignored on the subject.
