Australian actress Rachael Carpani has died. She was 45.

Carpani died following a chronic sickness, her sister, Georgia, confirmed in an Instagram assertion on Monday.

“It is with great sadness that Tony and Gael Carpani announce that their beautiful daughter, beloved Australian actress Rachael Carpani, unexpectedly but peacefully passed away after a long battle with chronic illness, in the early hours of Sunday 7th December,” the assertion read.

“The funeral will be a private event, to be held on Friday 19th December with close family and friends.”

Australian actress Rachael Carpani died from a chronic sickness, her household announced on December 15, 2025.

The caption concluded, “The family requests privacy at this very difficult time and will be making no further statements.”

According to Deadline, she was taken to a hospital in 2021 with belly pain and required surgical procedure for an undisclosed sickness.

The Post has reached out to CBS for remark.

Carpani appeared in “N.C.I.S: Los Angeles,” “The Rachels,” “The Glades” and “If There Be Thorns.” She also starred in Lifetime’s “Against the Wall” with Jason George and Marisa Ramirez.

She was maybe best identified, however, for her position as Jodi Fountain in the Australian collection “McLeod’s Daughters,” which aired for eight seasons from 2001 to 2009.

One of the actor’s ultimate Instagram posts was in honor of her mother’s birthday on Nov. 16.

“Happy Birthday to the heart and soul of our crazy awesome family. 🎈❤️❤️❤️ (classy way of saying we would implode without you !🤔😂),” she wrote at the time. “Love you to the moon & back mama.”
