Benjamin Netanyahu shared a video of himself understanding in what some imagine to be a bizarre attempt to show that he is healthy following his cancer diagnosis.

“Do you want those disgusting shakes?” he said to his adviser, Topaz Luk, who was filming him. When requested what his tip was for younger people who need to enlist in fight models, Netanyahu said, “Train. Don’t give up. You are capable of much more than you think.”

The video comes a week after Netanyahu revealed that he had undergone treatment for prostate cancer about a 12 months and a half in the past. He added that two and a half months in the past, his medical doctors found and handled a small tumor.

“I requested to delay its publication by two months so that it would not be released at the height of the war” against Iran, he said, to forestall “more false propaganda against Israel.” Netanyahu said he was healthy and called the tumor “a minor medical issue.”

Netanyahu’s health has been speculated during the early weeks of the struggle in Iran after faux, AI-generated photos have been shared on social media, suggesting that he had died.

Aharon Popovtser, the director of Hadassah Hospital’s oncology unit, said Netanyhay was recognized at an early stage, noting that prostate cancer is common among most males his age.

“We can say based on the findings of these tests that the disease has disappeared,” he told the Associated Press, referring to imaging and blood work.

Netanyahu, who is Israel’s longest-serving prime minister, is overseeing not just the struggle in Iran, but also the conflicts in Gaza and Lebanon.

He has confronted criticism in the past for a lack of transparency relating to his health.

In July 2023, Netanhu revealed that he had a pacemaker implanted to deal with a long-standing coronary heart condition after he fainted at a beforehand public event.
