The controversy-making feedback had been prompted by a query relating to the high value of dwelling in Manhattan — and the “minimum” quantity of money residents ought to earn in order to keep a first rate roof over their heads. Representatives for Shenker didn’t immediately reply to The Post’s request for a remark.
Over 350,000 New Yorkers, including 30,955 kids, had been estimated to be without shelter in May 2026, per the Coalition for the Homeless NYC.
The unlucky headcount got here just weeks prior to the controversial shuttering of the Mainchance homeless drop-in middle in Midtown East last month.
Shenker had beforehand bragged to The Post about her “85 to 90-hour” workweeks, and revealed that she doesn’t pay rent — but instead relies upon on her boyfriend to deal with their roughly $8,000 per month invoice on a Financial District pad.
The ritzy realtor additional boasted over the good-looking wage she instructions by “selling buildings,” across the boroughs, claiming her income ranges from “as low as $70,000 to as high as $1 million.”
