She wrote on social media, “BREAKING: Our sister station in Tucson has acquired a second be aware from those claiming to have kidnapped Nancy Guthrie.

“It’s been despatched to the FBI & the Sheriff’s Department. Out of respect for the household & law enforcement, we aren’t releasing the main points of the be aware at this time.”

After the new note was sent, the FBI released a statement, saying they are investigating the content of the message to verify its authenticity.

The statement said, “The FBI and Pima County Sheriff’s Department are conscious of a new message relating to Nancy Guthrie.

“Investigators are actively inspecting the information provided in the message for its authenticity. While this is one new piece of information, the FBI and the Pima County Sheriff’s Department are still asking anyone with tips to contact the FBI at 1-800-CALL- FBI.

“The FBI continues to offer a reward of up to $50,000 for info main to the recovery of Nancy Guthrie and/or the arrest and conviction of anybody concerned in her disappearance.”

Earlier in the day, Fox News reported that some of the details of the unverified note appeared to be verified by their reporting.

Alicia Acuna, reporting from Tucson, said, “Investigators are back in this neighborhood today, knocking on doorways in hopes of discovering somebody who could have a door cam video that will show the suspect or suspects driving away with Nancy Guthrie.

“Sheriff Chris Nanos says technological evidence could very well solve this case. We’ve been told neighbors have received emails from law enforcement to check any footage they may have and to alert agents.”

She added, “The FBI has also brought in a critical response group from Quantico. They have a team processing social media evidence and phone and digital footprints.”

Alicia explained, “As for the physical evidence, our Fox flight team captured this video of two broken floodlights next to a back patio door on Nancy Guthrie’s property.

“The FBI says the potential ransom be aware talked about a damaged floodlight. These are those we had been ready to spot.

“As for the ransom note, authorities say it contains two deadlines: one that passed last night at 5, and a second one coming up Monday.”

The reporter then performed a video message from Savannah’s brother, who addressed the abductors saying, “Whoever’s out there holding our mother, we want to hear from you.

“We have not heard something straight. We need you to attain out, and we need a manner to talk with you so we will transfer ahead.”

He added that “first,” before any of that could happen, the Guthrie family had to “know” that the kidnapper “had their mother.”

Camron managed to keep it together during the video, shedding no tears or fighting back any tears, whereas his sister Savannah appeared very emotionally distraught in her previous video statement, which she also shared on her Instagram account.

Nancy, 84, was last seen when she was dropped off at home at 9.48pm on Saturday last week, after which she likely went to bed, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said during a press conference on February 5.
