The pizza slinging rodent and his crew haven’t formally hung up their microphones just yet.
A uncommon, totally functioning Chuck E. Cheese animatronic band has been noticed rocking out at a Los Angeles location, giving nostalgic followers a glimpse of a childhood staple that has almost vanished from staple pizza and arcade chain.
Munch’s Make Believe Band is still taking the stage at the Chuck E. Cheese in Northridge, where all 5 members stay intact and performing, including Mr. Munch on keyboards, Jasper T. Jowls on guitar, Helen Henny on vocals, and Pasqually on drums. “WOW! Totally freaking amazing & Nostalgic!” @SoCal360 gushed in an X post on Tuesday. “The band plays every 45 mins. Seeing them brought back so many memories.”

The accompanying video reveals Mr. Munch and the gang singing and dancing on their old style stage, full with curtains, colourful lights and props. The sight has grow to be more and more uncommon as Chuck E. Cheese has ripped out the animatronics that once outlined the leisure restaurant chain in favor of interactive dance flooring, video partitions, trampolines and other trendy sights.

In 2023, they announced that the Northridge location would grow to be the everlasting home of Much’s Made Believe Band, initially planning for it to be the only restaurant in the nation to protect all the ensemble.
“As an important part of the legacy of the brand, we know that the animatronic band holds a special place for many fans in their childhood memories,” David Mceliminateips, President and CEO of Chuck E. Cheese mum or dad company, CEC Entertainment said. “We want our fans to know that the decision to keep the band here is meant as a gesture of love and gratitude as our legacy continues to evolve in new ways.”
Including Northridge, three other places reportedly have the full band setup: Springfield, Illinois; Hicksville, New York; and Charlotte, North Carolina.
