Ozark’s Tom Pelphrey is becoming a member of forces with Marvel legend Mark Ruffalo in a new high-profile crime drama set to hit Sky and HBO Max later this 12 months.
Task, which is able to premiere in less than a month, is the brainchild of Brad Ingelsby, the Emmy-nominated creator of Mare of Easttown.
A charming trailer, launched today (Tuesday, twelfth August), teases the drama’s intriguing plot, all set to the tune of Pink Floyd’s Wish You Were Here.
The initial footage of the extreme FBI probe into a sequence of home invasions, set against a turf battle and emotional household drama, has so far garnered an overwhelmingly optimistic response from drama fanatics.
The sequence synopsis reads: “Set in the working-class suburbs of Philadelphia, an FBI agent (Ruffalo) heads a Task Force to put an end to a string of violent robberies led by an unsuspecting family man (Pelphrey)”, reviews the Mirror.
