Paddy Pimblett: 'Michael Chandler is a dirty | MMA News

In light-weight contender Paddy Pimblett‘s last octagon look, he earned a ‘Performance of the Night’ bonus and picked up the most important win of his profession. “The Baddy” defeated Michael Chandler via TKO last April the UFC 314 co-main event in Miami, Florida.

After 13 minutes inside the cage with “Iron,” Pimblett considers Chandler to be a dirty fighter.

“Like Chandler, Chandler’s a proper nice fella, but in the cage he’s a dirty b*stard,” Pimblett said on his YouTube channel.

“Have you seen the amount of punches in the back of the head Chandler does? You know what I mean? Back of the head punches. F*cking fingers in people’s mouths. He tried to do that to [Dustin] Poirier and he bit him because he tried to do that. Eye pokes.”

“He Volleyed me in the balls. Right up the middle. It was the most blatant one ever,” continued Pimblett. “I went to kick him and he just went up the middle, f*ck off. Like, he said he tired to teep me. I was like, come on, lad.”

The win over Chandler earned Pimblett a shot at the interim light-weight championship against former interim titleholder Justin Gaethje in the UFC 324 main event on Jan. 24. The event takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas and would be the first UFC broadcast under the new media rights settlement with Paramount.
