Sam Burns was greatly surprised by Donald Trump‘s forthrightness during a round of golf they performed collectively.

Commenting on the heavy security presence accompanying the President on the course, Burns added: “On any gap, there’s close to twenty carts. If you are paying consideration and looking out, you may see snipers, secret service in all places.

“It’s funny, [because] I don’t know if this is the safest place or the most dangerous place in the world to be. I think it’s kind of both at the same time.”

Burns’ camaraderie with Scheffler has its roots of their shared journey from the junior ranks to turning into fixtures on the PGA Tour. Their tight-knit friendship, nonetheless, hasn’t dulled their aggressive edges; each are fiercely decided to outplay the opposite.
