Phil Mickelson’s LIV Golf staff, HyFlyers, has secured a financial boost ahead of the new season with an attire deal from Primo.

The staff, which incorporates Cameron Tringale, Brendan Steele and Andy Ogletree, will sport Primo clothes during their appearances on LIV Golf and at main championships.

Primo, part-owned by golf influencer Grant Horvat, was launched in 2020. Horvat, who boasts over a million YouTube subscribers, has not too long ago revealed videos that includes Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.

A video he shot with six-time main champion Mickelson sparked the partnership between HyFlyers and Primo. “I was challenged to wear the Primo joggers at The Open Championship after losing a match against Primo ambassador Grant Horvat,” Mickelson revealed.

“It turned out to be a game-changer. I wasn’t sure I could pull off wearing the cool, fashionable joggers but I have fallen in love with them and the rest of Primo’s outstanding product line.

“I’m excited the HyFlyers will probably be rocking them during our season,” he added. Peter Davis, general manager of HyFlyers, expressed his excitement about the partnership.

He said: “We are excited to launch our partnership with Primo Golf Apparel. Primo is continually innovating and creating high high quality merchandise that golfers love. We sit up for serving to them speed up their growth and persevering with to construct their model all through the season.”

The LIV brand has shown significant expansion since its inception in 2022, with the professional golf league gaining momentum three years after launch.

Initially met with skepticism due to its backing by Saudi Arabia, the LIV Golf league has managed to establish itself as a force within professional golf, brokering more endorsement deals and securing a multi-year broadcast agreement with FOX Sports just last week.
