Culver City has been recognized for producing top 400-meter runners in latest years. Now there’s a freshman feminine sprinter, Aliza Rush, who may deliver heaps of consideration in the approaching years.

Rush completed fourth in the Open Division 100 of the Arcadia Invitational on Friday, working a career-best time of 11.87 seconds.

“I always liked to run,” Rush said of her elementary faculty days. “I always liked to race.”

When it was prompt by a coach she could be a future 400 runner, her eyes instantly rose sending the message, “Are you crazy?”
