Now he’s pulled off the monitor equal with the announcement that 2024 Olympian Quincy Wilson, from Bullis School in Potomac, Md., is coming on April 11 to compete at the Arcadia Invitational at Arcadia High.
Wilson competed at the 2024 Olympic Games as a 16-year-old operating a leg in the qualifying for the 4×400 relay and incomes a gold medal when the group gained in the finals. The 400 meters is his specialty, and he’s scheduled to run in that event along with the varsity’s 4×100 and 4×400 relay groups. That means he’ll get to face Servite, which has California’s best 400-meter relay group. It also means no one goes to depart the meet early since the ultimate event is the 4×400 relay. Loyola, Servite and Long Beach Poly will likely be difficult Bullis.
Another star dedicated is from the ladies ranks, Natalie Dumas from Eastern Regional High in Voorhees Township, N.J. She’s coming to attempt to break the national report in the 300 intermediate hurdles held by Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone.
Wilson is dedicated to Maryland and Dumas to Arkansas.
The meet begins at 5 p.m. on April 11. Tickets will go on sale this week.
