Prep speak: Teenage barber is helping baseball | College News
Baseball gamers like to really feel snug carrying their hats but also look good when taking them off. That’s where sophomore JV baseball participant Noah Nolasco from Birmingham High comes into play.
He’s been cutting hair for gamers in the East Valley, from Birmingham to Poly to Sylmar to Bishop Alemany. He’s been busy because the playoffs are happening, and gamers are apparently following the philosophy “look good, feel good, play good.”
One of his clients is Birmingham sophomore pitcher Carlos Acuna, who’s 11-0 and performs in Saturday’s City Section Open Division championship recreation against El Camino Real at Dodger Stadium.
Nolasco said a taper is the favourite haircut these days and there’s also gamers bleaching their hair blond for the playoffs. He usually fees $25.
Here’s his instagram web page.
