A Price is Right contestant and her mother shared a wild moment on the CBS game show after she won big–and it even took the show’s host and cast by surprise when it happened.

Unusual mishaps have happened during episodes before, and fans are often left furious by the way some players seem to get help winning, and others lose huge amounts of money. 

However, while contestants winning big money or amazing prizes often results in elated and over-the-top reactions, the reaction during a July 2024 episode was seemingly unprecedented.

The moment occurred when a contestant named Alexandria made it to the Showcase Showdown. 

Her opponent bid on a trip to the Seychelles and a car, but bid a number that was $5,793 less than the actual value of both prizes. Alexandria, meanwhile, bid $22,500 on her own showcase, which featured another trip and a hot tub. 

In the excitement as the women hugged, they fell to the floor in front of model Alexis Gaube, who looked surprised in the moment. 

Fans, however, were delighted by it. 

“Nothig like a Mother’s love and guidance!!! GO MOM,” one fan commented on Instagram.

“Love the momma bear hug ending up in a fall. Cherry on top for such a great ending,” another added.
