Price is Right player falls to her knees after | TV Shows

During the latest episode of The Price is Right, Drew Carey gave a contestant the option between winning a car and a cash prize.

The host presented a game called Spelling Bee to player Patricia. The challenge consists of a contestant earning cards from a board containing numbers with letters on the back of them. The goal is to pick cards that can spell out “CAR.” Each card is worth $1,000.

She was able to gain three extra cards from the starting pack of two Drew gave to her. The host decided to match the amount presented and give her an enticing, surefire offer.

“I’ll give you $5,000 right now just to forget about the car,” he proposed.

After getting mixed reactions from the crowd, the contestant made her choice.

Another added: “Got to go for it.”

A third pointed out: “Car it’s not every day you have an opportunity to win a new car.”

Others thought she made the best choice.

A fan wrote: “$5,000 sounds like a win to me!”

Someone else mentioned: “Well, 5k is a win. I mean, it’s a no brainer.”

Regardless of the outcome, Patricia is still happy she got to a chance to be on the show.

She said: “I was so excited I love being on stage with Drew it was such a great experience. I still feel like a great winner.”

The Price is Right airs weekdays at 11am EST on CBS.
