Price Is Rights Drew Carey says player cant | TV Shows

The Price Is Right‘s longtime host Drew Carey jokingly scolded about complaing to a player who complained about not getting to play Plinko despite wanting to.

During the April 15 episode of the CBS game show, player James attracted Carey’s attention with his shirt that said: “I wanna play Plinko,” which prompted the host to say in dismay: “Ah, James we’re not playing Plinko!”

James replied: “That’s okay, I’m just happy to be here.” Carey asked: “Oh, you’re happy if we don’t play Plinko?” James replied: “Yeah, it’s totally fine.”

Carey told announcer George Gray: “George he says its okay we’re not playing Plinko,” which made James interject: “Unless you have it. I’ll take it.”

Gray then asked James: “What would you be okay playing?” before added: “Okay how about you just play for a brand new car!”

During the April 14 episode of the game show, a player went wild after she won a car, which she specifically requested.

Player Stacy guessed the nearest retail price of a set of skin care items before she made her way to the stage, where Carey welcomed her.

Then, all of a sudden, Gray asked the contestant: “What would you like to play for?” to which she eagerly responded: “A new car!”

Gray replied: “Okie dokie,” before he showed her a new Toyota Corolla, which she’d be able to drive home if she won a game of the Money Game, to which she played effortlessly.

According to Price Is Right’s website, the Money Game sees a player shown the middle digit in the price of a car.

The contestant is also shown a board with nine pairs of numbers from which they must select the first and last two digits of the price of the car.

Stacy chose the first two digits, which was right, and then the last two, also right, and secured the car in a matter of minutes.

When she won the car, Stacy wildly ran to it parked on stage and began shouting and jumping up and down. She even began crying. 

However, she wasn’t lucky enough to get a spot on the episode’s Showcase round. That honor when to Monte and Kemyia.
