Pritzker Shows Us Who He Really Is in Response to

Things have been fairly intense in Chicago in current weeks, as federal immigration enforcement brokers have ramped up efforts to monitor down and detain prison unlawful immigrants in the Windy City amid doxxing and violence from far-left wacktivists. 

Along with that has been the escalating conflict of phrases, which has included lawsuits, between Democrat metropolis and state “leaders” in Illinois and the Trump administration.

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker (D), of course, has been main the anti-ICE messaging strategy among his fellow Democrats, going so far as to say he was exploring legal choices to strive and prosecute ICE brokers for allegedly breaking the law, as we reported earlier.

“So we’re looking at all of the options at the local level with county state’s attorneys, with attorneys general to go after people [ICE agents] when they’re breaking Illinois law, when they’re breaking local law,” Pritzker told MSNBC host and former Biden-Harris administration press secretary Jen Psaki in a Thursday interview.

But though the interview with Psaki noticed Pritzker get thrown a lot of softballs, the one he did with Fox News’s Bret Baier was fairly different, with Baier urgent him on a number of fronts, including on the issue of violent crime, in specific, homicides. The governor was not completely happy when the Fox News anchor introduced receipts to the desk:

Baier: “Why does Chicago have the highest murder rate of all the big cities?”

Pritzker: “We’re not in the top 30.”

In another phase, Pritzker told on himself a little bit, pretending that he wasn’t fanning the flames of incendiary rhetoric that was main to homicide makes an attempt on ICE brokers, and declaring he knew precisely the categories of wrongdoing they had been allegedly committing.

And yet when Baier requested him if he’d be keen to spend a day with ICE brokers to see what they really do and have to go through, the potential 2028 presidential candidate declined.

“I can see what they do on the streets of Chicago,” Pritzker acknowledged as he shook his head no.

Pritzker: “ICE agents are literally racially profiling… Literally grabbing people and tackling them when they’re U.S. citizens.”

Baier: “Would you be willing to go on a ride-along with ICE in Chicago to get a better understanding of what they do?”

In other words, he’d rather stay comfortably ensconced in his safe place and wallow in ignorance and distorted social media clips posted by leftist agitators rather than see for himself in person if what’s being alleged about ICE is actually true. There’s a word for that, and it rhymes with the name “Howard.” 

But then again, what else can we count on from a man who has a 24-7 paid security element and who actually boasted about how secure Chicago supposedly was the day after a notably violent Labor Day weekend that noticed 37 shootings happen over the three-day period, where 58 people had been shot, with eight of the shootings being lethal?

Amazingly, Pritzker also went full Jekyll and Hyde, praising the person he has in contrast to Hitler for closing down the border, which he says helped cut down on some of the issues Illinois confronted with the inflow of unlawful immigrants under the Biden-Harris administration.

“…since President Trump has taken office, we don’t have the problem that existed before.”

Even JB Pritzker admits Biden’s border insurance policies had been disastrous and praises President Trump.

Thanking him on one hand for the help while slapping at him with the other. Come on, Illinois, you’ve got received to do better than this in future election cycles. You’ve just received to.
