Progressive Ideology Hijacked Leftist Women’s

There is a query floating around conservative circles that makes well mannered society squirm, which is often how you understand it’s price asking. It went viral again as it was posed on X in November.

I am unable to for the life of me perceive why, liberal ladies have turn out to be sympathetic to Islam but despise Christianity?

Why do so many fashionable liberal ladies communicate with open hostility toward Christianity while extending sympathy, or at least silence, toward Islam? Not cultural Muslims residing quietly in America. Not neighbors or coworkers. The ideology itself, particularly its fundamentalist expressions that are overtly hostile to ladies’s rights, autonomy, and security.

That query shouldn’t be hateful. It shouldn’t be ignorant. It is observant.

Anyone who has bothered to read basic reporting from Iran, Afghanistan, or components of the Middle East is aware of the rating. Women overwhelmed for displaying hair. Girls barred from faculty. Forced marriages. Honor killings. Legal systems where a lady’s testimony is price half of a man’s. 

This shouldn’t be fringe misinformation. This is documented actuality. And yet, the loudest voices screaming about patriarchy, oppression, and “toxic masculinity” fall unusually quiet when those realities come up. Or worse, they deflect, excuse, or scold anybody who notices.

So what goes on right here?

The idea that explains it best is one thing many conservatives have began calling poisonous empathy. Empathy unmoored from fact. Compassion divorced from knowledge. Feelings elevated above details. Empathy itself shouldn’t be the issue. Empathy is sweet. Christianity invented it as a ethical advantage long before it turned a hashtag. The downside is empathy that has been weaponized, redirected, and inflated until it overrides common sense and ethical readability.

When empathy turns into the best authority, it no longer asks whether or not one thing is sweet or true. It only asks who seems to be just like the sufferer and who may be labeled the oppressor.

Christianity, particularly biblical Christianity, makes ethical calls for. It talks about sin. It talks about self-denial. It talks about authority that doesn’t bend to personal emotions. That is offensive to a tradition constructed on self-definition and personal autonomy. Islam, in progressive circles, will get a go not because it’s light, but because it’s categorized as “the other.” Criticizing it feels politically harmful. Defending it feels virtuous, even when the details say in any other case.

This shouldn’t be about theology. It is about narrative.

Progressive ideology teaches people to type the world into energy hierarchies. Oppressor and oppressed. Majority and minority. West and non-West. Christianity, being foundational to Western civilization, will get solid as the villain by default. Islam, being related with non-Western cultures, will get handled as fragile and untouchable, regardless of its precise doctrines or outcomes.

That is where poisonous empathy comes in. It calls for allegiance to emotions over details, narratives over actuality.

There is another uncomfortable layer to this dialog, and yes, it’s delicate. But fact often is.

Many progressive ladies have delayed or rejected household formation fully. Fewer kids. Later marriages. Often none at all. That shouldn’t be an insult. It is a sociological fact supported by mountains of data. According to this NBC News ballot, 

Gen Z ladies who voted for Harris ranked having kids as the second-least important factor in their personal definition of success.

When you take away household as the first outlet for nurturing, devotion, and sacrifice, those instincts don’t disappear. They get redirected.

Women have been designed by God to nurture. That intuition is highly effective. When it’s rooted in the home, it builds households, communities, and secure societies. When it’s untethered from that basis, it latches onto summary causes. Movements. Ideologies. Hashtags. Political crusades.

You can see it in every single place. The emotional ferocity with which some ladies defend abortion, not as a tragic necessity but as a ethical good. The manner activism turns into identification. The manner dissent is handled as heresy. These will not be reasoned positions. They are emotional commitments.

Christianity challenges that by calling ladies, and males, to ordered loves. God first. Family second. Community next. Self last. That hierarchy is deeply threatening to a tradition constructed on self-expression and personal sovereignty.

So Christianity must be dismantled. Mocked. Redefined. Neutralized.

Islam, by distinction, is never examined truthfully in progressive areas because sincere examination would require ethical judgment. And ethical judgment has been declared the last word sin. The irony is painful. The same activists who recoil at the phrase “wives submit to your husbands,” often misrepresented to start with, will bend over backward to keep away from condemning systems where all ladies submit to all males, enforced by violence and law.

Toxic empathy doesn’t defend ladies. It abandons them. It teaches people to ignore actuality if actuality disrupts the popular narrative. It trains a era to nurture concepts instead of people, causes instead of kids, emotions instead of fact. And it leaves us with a tradition that can not reply simple questions truthfully.

Christianity shouldn’t be the enemy of ladies. It constructed the very idea of ladies having inherent price. It protects households. It anchors empathy in fact. The downside shouldn’t be that progressive ladies care an excessive amount of. It is that they’ve been taught to care without discernment.

Empathy without fact shouldn’t be love. It is kindness that can not heal.
