Republican Senator Lindsey Graham has issued a problem to Russian chief Vladimir Putin late Sunday night, saying that President Donald Trump was ready to kick Putin “in the ***.”

Appearing on Late Night in America, the South Carolina senator issued the assertion while speaking about Iran and how Putin appeared to break the promise that Ukraine‘s sovereignty could be revered if they gave up nuclear weapons. “He’s not gonna stop until somebody makes him stop. So Trump has been tough on Iran, which is incredibly dangerous but in a weakened state. And Putin, your turn is coming,” Graham mentioned.

“Donald Trump is the Scottish schefler of American politics and foreign diplomacy, and he’s about to put a whooping on your ***,” the 70-year-old senator mentioned.”What’s gonna happen here is that Trump is gonna impose tariffs on people who buy Russian oil. China, India, and Brazil, those three countries, buy about 80% of cheap Russian oil. That’s what keeps Putin’s war machine going.”

“So President Trump is gonna put a 100% tariff on each of those countries, punishing them for helping Putin,” he added. According to the Senator, “Putin can live through sanctions; he couldn’t give a damn about Russian soldiers, but China, India, and Brazil, they are about to face a choice between the American economy or helping Putin, and I think they’re gonna pick the American economy.”

GRAHAM’S ULTIMATUM 

The senior Republican’s assertion comes a number of days after he issued a chilling warning to Russia following Trump’s 50-day ultimatum. Graham took to X earlier this month, saying he was “welcome” to Trump’s announcement following the president’s assembly with NATO Secretary General that the NATO allies would finance the U.S. weapons being despatched to Kyiv to defend themselves against the Kremlin’s offensive.

“If [Russian President Vladimir] Putin and others are wondering what happens on day 51, I would suggest they call the Ayatollah,” Graham mentioned, referring to the U.S. air strike Trump ordered on key Iranian nuclear websites to obliterate Tehran’s nuclear ambitions.

Graham, one of Trump’s closest allies, has at all times been a staunch supporter of Washington’s powerful stance on Russia and Iran. “If I were a country buying cheap Russian oil, propping up Putin’s war machine, I would take what President Trump said,” Graham mentioned.

“At the end of 50 days, if we don’t have a deal, it’s going to be too bad,” Trump mentioned while speaking to reporters on Tuesday afternoon. “The tariffs are going to go on and other sanctions.”

During his assembly with Rutte, Trump threatened 100% tariffs on Moscow if the war is just not resolved in the next two months.

Recently, following Russia‘s Tuesday assaults that included bombarding Ukraine with drones, former Russian president and prime minister Dmitry Medvedev, who is serving at Moscow’s Security Council, mentioned that the Kremlin is undeterred by Trump’s “theatrical ultimatum.”
