Rashee Rice thrown in jail for violating probation…
Chiefs receiver Rashee Rice was taken into police custody on Tuesday after he violated a condition of his probation.
Dallas County jail information, seen by The California Post, show Rice was thrown behind bars at 12:25 p.m. after prosecutors alleged he not too long ago examined constructive for THC.
A Dallas County court submitting obtained by The Post states Rice has now been ordered to serve 30 days in jail with a scheduled release date of June 16.

Rice was on probation after he pleaded guilty to two felonies stemming from his function in a high-speed car wreck in March 2024.
Rice was accused of crashing a 2020 Lamborghini Urus SUV after he drove it on a Dallas freeway at speeds of over 100 MPH. Rice allegedly fled the scene shortly after inflicting the accident.
In July 2025, Rice issued guilty pleas to one rely of racing on a freeway inflicting bodily injury and one rely of collision involving critical bodily injury and was sentenced to 5 years probation and ordered to pay restitution to victims that totaled over $114,000.
“Last March, I was involved in a high-speed accident in Dallas,” Rice said shortly after he issued the guilty pleas. “There have been a lot of sleepless nights pondering about the damages that my actions brought about, and I’ll continue working within my means to make sure that everybody impacted will likely be made complete.
“I urge everyone to mind the speed limit, drive safe and drive smart. Last and certainly not least, I am profoundly sorry for the physical damages to person and property. I fully apologize for the harm I caused to innocent drivers and their families.”
The NFL ended up levying a six-game suspension on Rice over the incident.
The 26-year-old wideout performed in eight whole video games last season and compiled 571 receiving yards and 5 receiving touchdowns on 53 catches.
