The mother-of-two said this echoes Brooklyn’s assertion, in which he claimed that a lot of his life was full of “performative social media posts, family events and inauthentic relationships.” In his bombshell six-post assertion, the 26-year-old accused his dad and mom of controlling “narratives” in the press, as he added: “Recently, I have seen with my own eyes the lengths that they’ll go through to place countless lies in the media, mostly at the expense of innocent people, to preserve their own facade. But I believe the truth always comes out.”

The star, who now lives in Norway with her husband, said: “Suddenly you’re part of a big PR war. In a very small way, this is, of course, validation for what I said and came forward and said 22 years ago. 

“Brooklyn is principally confirming inauthentic relationships, worth of promotion, endorsements above all else, and that it is all centered on model Beckham, and that’s all that issues.”

In the 90-minute special, which airs on Sunday (February 1), Rebecca spoke on Brooklyn’s claim that the ex-Spice Girl “hijacked” his first dance with Nicola Peltz at his 2022 wedding, after singer Marc Anthony branded the designer “the most lovely lady in the room”.

She said: “Whether it got here from her or whether or not it was Marc Anthony is beside the purpose because it reveals a lack of awareness for other people’s emotions. 

“I think any other mother would’ve read the room and understood this is awkward and probably said, thank you for the compliment, but the most beautiful woman in the room is Nicola, Nicola, please take this dance. 

“Or at least if the mom had had a few too many glasses of wine and was unable to read the room, possibly the husband or the daddy would then have possibly stepped in and possibly grabbed Nicola, twirled her around and then swap companions to let her have the dance.”
