Thanks to a pardon from President Donald Trump and help from their daughter Savannah Chrisley, former actuality TV stars Todd Chrisley, his spouse Julie have been liberated from prison.
Savannah, alongside her brother Grayson Chrisley, lately joined their dad and mom on Lara Trump’s Fox News program to share the story of their efforts that led to Todd and Julie’s release. The couple was convicted in 2022 for tax evasion and wire fraud, prices which Todd Chrisley staunchly refutes.

During the emotional interview with Lara Trump, Savannah recounted the second President Trump personally reached out to her.
“We were sitting in the car, and it was hotter than all get out here, and I was just afraid to turn on the car ’cause I was like ‘Bluetooth’s gonna connect, it’s gonna mess up the call,'” she shared, recalling the tense second with her brother Grayson next to her and their dad and mom.
“Also, a big thing was he asked Alice Johnson, ‘is this a commutation of a full pardon?’ And she said, ‘as of now, it’s just a commutation.’ He goes ‘nope. We’re gonna give them a full pardon. These people get their lives back,” she shared, still reeling from the shock.
Todd had beforehand expressed his gratitude in direction of his daughter for her efforts in securing pardons for her dad and mom at a press convention at the Kimpton Aertson Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee, following his and Julie’s release from prison.
“I will always be grateful to you from the bottom of my heart,” he addressed Savannah during the occasion, where he also spoke about encountering “horrific stories” and witnessing wrongful convictions while incarcerated.
“I will continue to expose the injustices that happen there and the Bureau of Prisons,” Todd declared, hinting at a future stuffed with advocacy. He also introduced, “We are blessed to be coming back to television we have a much bigger story to tell now.”
