She was last seen by her daughter and son-in-law after they dropped her off at home the evening before. Kelly revealed that he realized about the horrific scenario before it was made public and has been concerned in helping the investigation.

“Well, I first learned of it before it was public. Savannah called me cause she knows I live here, and then I called the sheriff and the Tucson police chief,” he told KLTV. That was mid-afternoon Sunday, and Savannah was on her manner to the airport to fly right here.”

“Obviously [she was] somewhat upset. So I’ve been doing whatever I can do,” he said. “She’s a pal, I’ve recognized her, and I just need to be there to help her. I did not have a lot data, but I might hear how tense of a scenario this was for her.”

The senator added that “the case is in very succesful fingers with the sheriff and the FBI, and I do know they’re doing every part they’ll.”

It comes after U.S. President Donald Trump hinted Friday that more information about the investigation would be revealed soon.

After the mother was reported missing, officers examined her $1 million Tucson residence, where they discovered blood at the front entrance and evidence of a break-in, prompting investigators to believe she may have been taken against her will.

On Friday, Trump indicated that federal investigators working the case may soon provide “definitive” information about what happened to her.

“I believe we’re doing very nicely,” he stated regarding the probe. “Very nicely that means now we have some clues that I believe are very strong, and I believe we might have some solutions coming up pretty soon.

“I’m not talking about a search. I’m talking about a solution,” he added. “We have some things I think that will maybe come out reasonably soon from DOJ or FBI or whoever that could be.”

When questioned whether or not authorities had recognized a individual of curiosity, Trump responded, “Yeah. Could be definitive. A lot has taken place in the last couple of hours.”

Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos said on Friday that authorities are working under the idea the mom stays “still alive.”

“What I believe is that Nancy was removed from her home against her will, and that we need to find her. That’s what I believe. She’s still alive,” he said. “I believe that I have no choice until something shows me, a piece of physical evidence shows me that that’s different.”

On the same day, officers carried out their third search of her home in an pressing effort to uncover leads before Monday, Feb. 9, deadline in the first ransom. Family members have also warned that she depends on a pacemaker, has restricted motion and requires daily medication to keep alive, intensifying the urgency to discover her shortly.

“She lives in constant pain. She is without any medicine. She needs it to survive, and she needs it not to suffer,” the TODAY show host said Wednesday, alongside her sister, Annie, and brother, Camron.
