Savannah Guthrie has shared the real reason why she returned to the Today show.

The search continues for the host’s 84-12 months-previous mom, who went lacking from her home just north of Tucson, Arizona on February 1. She was last seen at the property at around 9:30 p.m on January 31 and was reported lacking the next day.

After a thriller man who claimed he “saw Nancy 5 days ago” supplied chilling new proof, Savannah has returned to the show to focus on the “pain” she’s going through. While talking with her former co-star Hoda Kotb, she mentioned how it felt returning to her “home.”

When Hoda requested how it was strolling back into the Today show, she confessed, “I really wanted to come and see everybody. I just love this beautiful place that we call home.

“I do know how a lot people have prayed for me and beloved me. You see it on TV, then all the people you do not. All the notes and messages that I’ve obtained are just so lovely,” she added.

Investigators are narrowing the leads by focusing on the ones related to the masked suspect on Nancy’s Google Nest.

A few weeks after the incident, the FBI released footage from Nancy’s Google Nest that shows a potential subject wearing dark gloves as he walked up to her front door. Along with gloves, the subject was also wearing a zip-up hoodie, a pair of sweats, a backpack and a balaclava.

Despite finding a visual of the potential subject, the authorities have yet to name a suspect nor find Nancy.

There is speculation that one of the images taken was from a night other than January 31. Sheriff Nanos said authorities “consider that one thing occurred on Jan. 11 and that’s with the FBI’s analysis of the tools and digital stuff they’ve accomplished.”

Savannah broke her silence on the matter on Monday, February 2. Since then, she has remained persistent at finding her mother, with her family even offering a reward of up to $1 million for the recovery of her mother.

Savannah’s interview comes as the mysterious disappearance of an Air Force normal has a number of chilling similarities to the Nancy case.
