Scotty McCreery has admitted he wished to “try something different” for his latest EP – and fans are loving the change.
The nation music singer has just launched Scooter & Friends, which sees Scotty collaborate with a quantity of iconic artists including Hootie & the Blowfish, Lee Brice and Charlie Wilson.
Speaking about the EP, Scotty told us, “I have never executed a lot of collaborations before in my profession, so I believe it was just a bit sudden, but so far the response’s been great.”
He said the reception has been “awesome,” before including, “I think it’s kind of been a different project for me, so I don’t think fans are quite expecting these sounds or these kind of songs.”
Scotty said he determined to crew up with his friends for the EP because he wished to “try something different.”
Scooter & Friends options 5 tracks including the only Bottle Rockets, which blew fans away when it was launched and climbed up the nation music charts.
The EP is not the only factor Scotty has to be excited about, as he is anticipating his second baby with spouse Gabi Dugal.
He told us, “I’m pumped. I’m a little nervous just trying to remember what we did the first time. And you know, it’s going to be double trouble running around the house now, but it’s all great things. We’re excited.”
The couple also share son Merrick Avery, two.
