Decision Desk Headquarters (DDHQ) has finally called the second spot in the California governor’s race. They have declared that Republican candidate Steve Hilton will probably be advancing to the final election.

Current numbers show Hilton with 1,975,062 votes, while the third individual, Democrat Tom Steyer, has 1,759,328. So Hilton is up more than 200,000, with 84 p.c reporting. DDHQ seems to have finally determined Steyer wasn’t going to catch him.
That’s good news for California. It’s going to be a problem come the final election against Hilton’s Democrat opponent, former Biden Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, but Hilton has said Californians are “desperate for a change,” and he means to win to help give them that change.
