Selena Gomez recreates Devil Wears Prada with | TV Shows

Meryl Streep is officially back for season 5 of Only Murders in the Building, and she confirmed it with Selena Gomez in a playful new video.

The clip, released Thursday, shows the pair recreating a well-known moment from The Devil Wears Prada, where Streep starred opposite Anne Hathaway.

In the video, Gomez tells Streep: “So you’re coming back for season 5.” Streep replies, channeling Hathaway’s character: “Well, I think that depends on—”

Gomez then cuts her off with: “No, no, that wasn’t a question.”

The caption for the video also referenced the film: “Gird your loins, Meryl is returning for Season 5! That’s all.”

Streep, who plays actress Loretta Durkin in the series, first joined the cast in season 3.

Hulu renewed the hit murder mystery in September 2024 after its fourth season debuted.

The show stars Martin Short, Steve Martin, and Selena Gomez as three neighbors who investigate suspicious deaths in their Upper West Side apartment building, The Arconia.

The new season is currently in production. Back in March, Renee Zellweger was announced as joining the cast.
