Senate Republicans are re-examining Joe Biden’s alleged cognitive decline over six months after the previous president left workplace.

In what is predicted to be the first in a collection of congressional hearings on Biden’s mental fitness while in workplace, Republicans on the Senate Judiciary Committee introduced in three witnesses Wednesday — none of whom served in Biden’s administration — to scrutinize his time in workplace, arguing that Biden, his employees and the media have to be held accountable.

It comes as bombshell stories emerge about the alleged cover-up by Biden’s aides and interior circle to conceal his age-related declining health during his presidency through his ill-fated 2024 re-election marketing campaign, with the release of “Original Sin,” by CNN’s Jake Tapper and Axios’ Alex Thompson as nicely as “Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House,” by NBC News’ Jonathan Allen and The Hill’s Amie Parnes.

Democrats boycotted the hearing and criticized Republicans for “arm chair diagnosing” Biden when the committee might be trying into critical issues.

Republicans performed clips during the hearing Wednesday of Democrats defending Biden. In the montage, the Democrats discuss about how Biden was mentally sharp when he was in workplace.

“Most Democrats on this committee have chosen to all but boycott the hearing and have failed to call a single witness,” mentioned Sen. Eric Schmitt, R-Mo. “They have chosen to ignore this issue, like they ignored President Biden’s decline.”

Sen. Dick Durbin, the committee’s high Democrat, criticized Republicans for holding a hearing on the final president at a time when “numerous critical challenges facing the nation that are under our jurisdiction.”

“Apparently arm chair diagnosing former President Biden is more important than the issues of grave concern,” mentioned Durbin of Illinois.

GOP Sen. Katie Britt also questioned Spicer on “what mechanisms should we put in place” to hold the media accountable “for not actually following what is clearly in front of them.”
