Sharon Osbourne turned visibly emotional at the Grammy Awards. The widow of the late Ozzy Osbourne was clearly moved as Yungblud, a close household pal, honoured the Prince of Darkness, six months following his death.
Yungblud, whose real identify is Dominic Harrison, initially admired Black Sabbath’s frontman before developing a friendship with him. At the Grammys on February 1 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, the vocalist, recognised for his candid method, celebrated the rock icon while his 73 12 months outdated widow turned tearful on stage beside him.
“To grow up loving an idol who helps you figure out your identity, not only as a musician, but also as a man, is something I’m really grateful for,” Yungblud said. The performer had just secured Best Rock Performance for Changes, his cowl of Ozzy’s observe which he recorded live at Black Sabbath’s farewell live performance, Back to the Beginning, in July.
Yungblud added, “But to then get to know them and honour them at their final show and receive this [his award] is something I am struggling to comprehend, we f—–g love you Ozzy.”

Yungblud and Ozzy had developed a close relationship after assembly in 2022, with the Black Sabbath legend subsequently changing into one thing of a mentor to him. Speaking to The Times after the rock icon’s death, Yungblud expressed his disbelief at the sudden loss, stating: “I told a friend that I thought Ozzy had another five albums in him. And then he did the show and then he died. It’s so overwhelming.”
The legendary performer died at 76 on July 22, surrounded by his spouse Sharon and kids. His tragic passing got here just days after he delivered his last efficiency at Black Sabbath’s Back to the Beginning gig at Villa Park, where Yungblud had also been set to seem.

Emergency air ambulance groups battled for two hours attempting to resuscitate Ozzy after being summoned to his home. Sharon wed Ozzy in 1982, and they’d three kids together: Aimee, 42, Kelly, 41, and Jack, 39.
After the devastating loss, the previous X Factor panellist has spoken overtly about coping with her bereavement.
Just before the festive season, she spoke frankly during an interview on close mate Piers Morgan‘s Uncensored show, remembering Ozzy’s last days.

She disclosed: “The main doctor said to him that if he did the show, ‘that’s it, you’re not gonna get through it. … He didn’t want to die on stage, he didn’t.
“So he knew that if he went forward with the show, it could most likely kill him. I do not know how you are feeling, given how painful it has been to lose him.”
Sharon then became visibly upset and brushed away her tears.
The Osbourne family matriarch also described the harrowing moment she found him lifeless, and her uncontrollable cries upon discovering he had passed.

According to The Sun, she revealed: “He had a coronary heart assault. I ran downstairs, and there he was, and they had been attempting to resuscitate him, and I’m like, ‘Don’t – just depart him. Leave him. You cannot. He’s gone. I knew immediately he’d gone. And they tried and tried, and then they took him by helicopter to the hospital and they tried, and it is like, ‘He’s gone. Just depart him.'”.
Sharon also disclosed that Ozzy would dedicate up to 90 minutes each day on the crosstrainer, despite his declining health. Reflecting on their final night together for the first time, she mentioned Ozzy’s troubled sleep.
“He said, ‘Kiss me’. And then he said, ‘Hug me tight’. I am unable to help questioning if I ought to have, may I’ve? If only I’d have told him I liked him more. If only I’d have held him tighter. And he went downstairs, labored out for 20 minutes and handed away,” she admitted.
