An individual was shot exterior the Republican Party of Virginia’s (RPV) headquarters in Richmond on Thursday, just 5 days before the midterm elections. Luckily, RPV officers say there may be no indication that the capturing was politically motivated.

According to Republican Party of Virginia Chairman Jeff Ryer, as reported by Brandon Jarvis of Virginia Scope, the sufferer was shot exterior the building on East Grace Street and then introduced inside for treatment. No RPV workers members had been injured, said the chairman.

Ryer said that, to the best of his data, the capturing had nothing to do with the Republican Party or its headquarters.
