On March 1, Shreya Ghoshal posted on Instagram, informing her followers that her X (previously Twitter) account had been hacked since February 13. She expressed concern, stating that regardless of her workforce’s efforts to get better the account or get a response from the X workforce, they’ve had no success. The ‘Mere Dholna’ singer additionally talked about that she is unable to delete her account. She urged her followers to remain cautious and keep away from clicking on any spam or phishing hyperlinks from her X account.
Addressing about it, Shreya shared, “Hello fans and friends. My Twitter / X account is hacked since February 13th. I have tried everything in my capacity to reach out to the X team. But there has been no response beyond a few auto generated responses. I am unable to even delete my account since I can’t log in any more.”
She added, “Please don’t click on any link or believe any message written from that account. They are all spams and fishing links.”
Shreya’s followers flooded the feedback part, hoping for a decision whereas expressing disappointment over her wrestle to delete her X account. One fan wrote, “Hope we get you back there soon. We will wait for you. Your Twitter SGFamily misses you so much—so many emotions are attached to it. Hope you recover your account soon.”

Another fan urged her to escalate the problem, saying, “Didi, please try reaching out to higher authorities. They resolved such issues before. That account holds years of love and memories—it’s an emotion for us. We miss you so much.”
A 3rd person shared their misery, commenting, “I literally started crying after reading ‘delete my account.’ So many emotions are tied to it.”
Meanwhile, no uncommon exercise has been noticed on Shreya’s X profile. Her final replace was on February 6, when she reposted a tune she sang for the Telugu movie Thandel.
