Small plane makes emergency landing on San Diego highway | Latest Travel News
SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Drivers on a San Diego highway had to keep away from a small plane that landed on the street after an plane emergency Saturday afternoon.
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) are investigating after a small plane landed on I-805 close to Carroll Canyon Road in Sorrento Valley in northern San Diego County around 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

CHP studies it seems the plane landed due to mechanical points.
The flight tracker reveals a non-public plane was heading from the San Diego Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport to San Diego Miramar Marine Corps Air Station.
No accidents have been reported.

Caltrans studies all lanes on 805 south at the SB I-5 break up in Sorrento Valley remained closed due to police exercise. All site visitors was being diverted to I-5 south.
