Bed Bath & Beyond’s comeback tour is headed to California.
Just three years after the home items store shuttered all of its shops during chapter proceedings, the retailer has announced that two new co-branded shops are set to open in the Golden State “immediately” as half of its latest brick-and-mortar revival.
The new shops shall be situated inside The Container Store areas in Los Angeles and Costa Mesa, according to a release.
The openings are half of a broader rollout that will carry 22 new co-branded Bed Bath & Beyond and The Container Store shops throughout the nation.

The retail reunion comes after both manufacturers survived their own financial points. Bed Bath & Beyond famously collapsed into chapter in 2023 and The Container Store adopted swimsuit in 2024.
Earlier this yr, Bed Bath & Beyond’s dad or mum company, Beyond, Inc., announced it was buying The Container Store, seeing the stage for the new idea touchdown soon.

The California growth is notable BB&B top brass beforehand said that they’d not reopen conventional standalone shops in the state, citing high working prices.
