Squid Game star ‘accidentally shares’ huge season | TV Shows

A star of Squid Game seems to have inadvertently leaked a significant spoiler for the third season.

Shortly after the season three release date was leaked, Park Gyu-young, the actress who portrays North Korean defector Kang No Eul in the series, shared behind-the-scenes photos with 3.7 million Instagram followers. Concidentally, the pictures also revealed details about the upcoming storyline.

The actress quickly deleted the post but it was no use. Sharp-eyed fans of the Netflix hit had already spotted what they believe is a major reveal.

One image showed her sitting in a chair during a break, clad in the notorious red guard uniform.

A man seated next to her, also in the same attire, appears to be Lee Jin Wook, who played single father Park Gyeong Seok in the show.

Keen-eyed fans spotted a blurb on Netflix’s official Korean YouTube channel, revealing that the final season was scheduled to premiere on June 27, 2025.

This information, initially part of a teaser video, was swiftly removed. While some viewers are eagerly anticipating the third installment, there are those who criticize the creators for unnecessarily extending the series.

A disgruntled fan expressed their disappointment on X, stating: “Don’t waste your time by watching #SquidGame2 worst episodes. The ending is the worst. Netflix tried to drag too much and tried to expend to another season. What are they even thinking?”

Someone else explained: “i really just don’t get the point of squid game 2 there’s no development its just them playing different games and we still dont know shit about the frontman and his motives, gi hun is mid, and the hot cop never makes a breakthrough.”
